A revision of OSHA’s Hazard Communication (HazCom) Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) to adopt elements of the Global harmonization System (GHS) has been in the works since 2005, and was approved in 2012.
BDN Consultants can help you understand the new requirements thoroughly, train your staff, and update your programs to meet the new requirements. If you do not have a written program we can help you develop a HazCom program to meet the GHS standard.
Training and Pricing
Bringing employees to familiarity with the new data sheet 16-section formats as well as recognizing the new labeling pictograms, signal words, and precautionary statements is key to compliance with the revised standard. BDN is flexible and can provide training at your facility to groups of employees involved by the new standard.
